Colder Weather

In the past few days the temp has dropped and you can feel the cold in the air and in the house !!! Time to look for some new slippers for the kids as I fear that socks will just not do it and that this won't wait til Christmas. Due to something that was out of my control I had to take a half day from work to be with Cole this afternoon. As much as the loss in pay sucks I did enjoy spending the afternoon with my handsome lil Goob. there is not to many days where I get to spend one on one time with just one kidlet at a time so I had better enjoy it while I can.  It was a great afternoon full of good eats, funny cartoons, cuddles and stories (with a nap squeezed in) They do grow so fast and it pains my heart a little when I have a full convo about Cole's girlfriend Lily at the dayhome and how much he likes her and likes to play with her. They play blocks together and I am okay with that ..lol

Today marks the end of my 15th week with this pregnancy and I'm on to my 16th. I still haven't booked my ultrasound to find out the gender and I have no clue why I am waiting. We plan on having a Gender reveal party as a fun way to announce to family, friends and ourselves what the gender is. while it sounds like a cute idea I don't feel like entertaining a large group of people in my house just so I can clean it all up after (hormones talking right there). I'm thinking maybe going out for lunch and inviting others to join us but we will see. I will probably end up hosting the event at our house. Any one with idea's please pass them along my way :)
